Today I come to you from Card-a-Day blog where our theme this week is "monochromatic"! I just love these kinds of challenges don't you???
First, let me show you my card:
As you can see, I am using black and white as my colors for this challenge. I have to tell you I had SO ... MUCH ... FUN ... making this card. And here's the reason why ... I used the new Artbooking Cricut cartridge from Close to My Heart!! Yup, you heard me, the brand new Artbooking cartridge that will be available on August 1st! As a CTMH consultant, I was able to purchase the cartridge early to start playing with it. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this cartridge!
I made this A2 size card using white cardstock and then layering it with some designer paper from our For Always paper pack.
The sentiment "You're a STAR" comes from one of the stamp sets that comes with the Artbooking bundle called "Take Note".
I cut the "notebook paper" using the Artbooking cartridge: page 42, A5, < 5 > at 4" using the Real Dial size key and then again at 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" and 3 1/2" x 5" using the Fit to Length key.
The matte around the sentiment was cut at 2 1/2" from p. 64, C7, Shift, Photo Mat 2, < J >.
I just love the way this card turned out! If you would like to pre-order this amazing new cartridge, please email me by clicking here and I will take care of that for you and have it shipped on August 1st.
