Welcome to our August Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  This month's stamp from Close to My Heart is "A Chocolate Affair" and is available exclusively through your Close to MyHeart consultant from August 1 - 30, 2013.  This month, you can receive this stamp set for FREE with a qualifying purchase.

I am the start of the blog hop so you are in the right place to get started!

I am constantly using 3" x 3" mini cards and I have run out so I decided to make a few using this cute stamp set:

I random stamped the background of my card, which is Chocolate cardstock, using one of the sentiments from this stamp set "Chocolate is good for you" using Chocolate ink.

I cut out a 1 3/4" circle using the Art Philosophy cartridge (p. 21, A1, < Circle1 >)  and stamped the sentiment "Who Needs Milk?" in Lagoon ink.  The chocolate cookies were also stamped using Chocolate ink.  I'm not sure if you can tell from the pictures or not, but I did "pop up" the cookies using some 3D Foam Tape to give it added dimension.

  1. Love your cards Lucy!! Bring on the Oreos!! ;o)

  2. I rarely use 3x3s as I always struggle fitting everything I want on the small front. This is a great design!

  3. Love the way you made these. Great idea

  4. Love the clean and simple 3 x 3's. No calorie chocolate is what it's all about!
