Bee-utiful Summer Blog Hop - Day 2

Good Morning Everyone!

Isn't it ANOTHER "bee-utiful" summer day?

This morning I am participating in Day 2 of a blog hop that is celebrating summer.  If you just happened onto my blog, please start the hop at the beginning with Lisa's blog - Honeybearz Designs.

For Day 2, I decided to incorporate the "Bee" of our theme:

I'm not sure if you could tell right away but on one of my cards, I accidentally adhered my sentiment and bee UPSIDE DOWN!!  Have you ever done that?  And then noticed after it was too late to change it ?!?!?  Well, since I couldn't fix it, I thought to myself, this would be a funny card to send to a friend, so that's what I will do!

I cut the card shape using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge (which has 700 images on it - 100 of which are card shapes!)  The sentiment "just be" came from our new Artbooking Cricut cartridge cut using our Chantilly paper pack.  I cut a second image and cut of the "E" to add to my sentiment.  I will use the "Just B" on another card - I hate wasting things, don't you?

Did you notice that I random stamped the bee image on the Buttercup matte?  I used Buttercup ink - stamping tone on tone.

The bee image came from the "Bugs and Hugs" stamp set.  The sentiment "HAPPY" on the inside of the card was stamped using the Framework Alphabet stamp.  I love that these stamps are clear so that I can see right where I need to stamp!

  3. Some of my very best projects were mistakes that I had to either cover up or devise some reason for the error - that's what makes crafting "handmade with love" - great ideas and love the colors! TFS!
