I originally had signed up for 2 holidays:  National Eye Exam Month AND National Lighthouse Day.  Unfortunately, you will only be seeing a project for National Eye Exam Month.  I broke a crafting "rule" of mine and had a soda on my craft table.  Before I had a chance to photograph my card for National Lighthouse Day - yes - I SPILLED my soda all over the card!  Argghhh!!

So I give to you my cards for National Eye Exam Month:

I thought that the stamp set Card Chatter - Focus on the Little Things was PERFECT for this holiday.  Don't you??

The tag card was made using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  You can find the image on page 60, D10, < Tag4 > and was cut at 4 1/2" and 5 1/2".  I used a paper pack called Sarita for the card. The sentiments were stamped with Goldrush and Cotton Candy inks.

SUPPLIES USED
Art Philosophy Cricut catridge (Z1686)
Sarita paper (X7171B)
Card Chatter - Focus on the Little Things (A1137)
Goldrush Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad (Z2123)
Cotton Candy Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad 9Z2193)
Sponge Daubers (Z726)

We are offering some fabulous blog candy to a lucky winner - Sandy from Scrapbook Blessings will be going through her stash and sending one lucky winner a surprise package.

Laura will also be giving one lucky winner her favorite image from The Stamping Chef.. She is a new release so you will have to wait and see her.  Just comment and give some bloggie love to each of the Calendar Girls.

Your next stop along the way of the calendar is Michele of Scrapy Taz.

Thanks for stopping by and mark your calendar again next month to see what Holidays to Celebrate on September 14, 2013, for the next Calendar Girls Blog Hop!

Have a wonderfully crafty day!

Lucy

  3. Love the eye chart sentiment on your cute card. Sorry your lighthouse card got zapped by the soda. I have had the same thing happen to me so now I have a couple of those double walled plastic glasses with a straw and screw on cap.
