Good Morning Everyone!
Today my post comes to you from Card-a-Day Challenge Blog where I am a member of the Design Team. First my card:
Our theme or challenge this week was to use embossing - either dry or wet. As you can see, I chose "dry".
I used a paper pack called Laughing Lola for my A2 size card. I then cut a piece of Gypsy cardstock and ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot with a Cuttlebug folder. Unfortunately I do not know the name of the Cuttlebug folder I used. They don't put the name on the folders unfortunately. I cut the piece of cardstock down to 3 1/4" x 4". After I embossed the cardstock and cut it down, I sponged Gypsy ink, a coordinating color, on the embossed surface.
The sentiment "Celebrate Today" comes from the Casual Expressions stamp set which coordinates with the Artiste Cricut cartridge. I cut the shape out at 2", 2 1/4". and 2 1/2". The shape can be found on page 63, D3, Card, < c >.
