My Man Blog Hop

If you are looking for my post for the Close to My Heart September Stamp of the Month Blog Hop, please click here.

This hop is all about masculine projects of all kinds, anything our team things of that is masculine for a special guy in their life.  We hope you enjoy the journey through the hop, as masculine ideas are harder to come by then general purpose crafting.

If you came here from Robin's blog at Scrap and Chat, you're in the right place!  If not, why don't you start at the beginning at Katina's blog at Loving Life's Little Blessings.

This is what I have made for the hop:

I am always struggling with making masculine crafty projects so I decided to make a card.  I think I like the way it turned out.  I used paper from the ProPlayer pack.  The bottom strip on the card is part of the zip strip from one of the designer papers from the pack.

This is an A2 size card measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  I used black cardstock for the base  I cut the next layer of the card using the Art Philosophy cartridge.  The postage stamp image is on page 24, A4, < Square6 > and was cut at 4 1/2".  I then cut a piece of black cardstock to fit on the inside.

The car in the center of the card came from the Bright Sunshiny Day stamp set and was stamped in Slate ink.

The sentiment on the card comes from the Holiday Tag stamp set and was also stamped in Slate ink. I cut the frame for the sentiment using the Artiste Cricut cartridge at 1". It can be found on page 33, A3, Shift, Accent 2, < # >.
