I have been a member of a team of crafters called "Scraps to Treasures" and we create all of our projects using - you guessed it -- our scraps!
Well today we are celebrating our birthday! We are officially One Year Old today! Happy birthday to us!
If you came her from Lissa Marie's blog at So Many Crafts, then you're in the right place! Otherwise, please start at the beginning with Robin of Scrap and Chat.
I used my scraps to create a set of birthday cards. I don't know about you but I am ALWAYS in need of more birthday cards. Here are my cards:
For my birthday cards, I used scrap from a paper pack I have been using called Sarita. I just love the colors in this paper pack. It includes some of my favorites: Lagoon and Gypsy! They are such vibrant colors.
These are A2 size cards measuring 4 1/4: x 5 1/2". I used Pattern 29 from our Make It From Your Heart - Volume 2 to help me make this card.
I also used the Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut the shape where I stamped my sentiment "Happy Birthday". You can find the image on p. 33, A3, < Accent4 > cut at 1 3/4" and 2".
The sentiment and frame that I stamped with Gypsy and Lagoon ink respectively came from the Holiday Tags stamp set which coordinates with the Artiste as you can see. Love that! No more fussy cutting for me!
