This week over at Card-a-Day blog our theme is "Milestone Birthdays"! A friend asked me to come up with some ideas for her 50th birthday party, including invitations, soooooo ....
This card is called a "Joy Fold" card. There is a step-by-step tutorial over at Splitcoaststampers if you would like to see how I made it. The tutorial is actually pretty easy to follow.
Here are a couple more pictures of the outside and inside of the card:

I used our paper pack "Laughing Lola" because I just love the purple, blue, and black colors and how they coordinate. PLUS, my friend really wanted to incorporate purple in her party planning!
The "50" was cut at 2" and 2 1/4" using our Artbooking Cricut cartridge. The sentiment "It's a Party" was randomly stamped using Gypsy ink (a coordinating ink color) on the inside of the card. It is in a stamp set that comes with the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge bundle. "Celebrate" comes from a stamp set called "Card Chatter - Birthday".
