Sentiment - ally Yours

Good Morning Everyone!

It's Monday again -- where has the time gone??  We are now almost in the middle of August -- sheesh!

Check out today's project:

Framed Sentiment

Unframed Sentiment

Our challenge this week at Heart 2 Heart Challenges was to use a sentiment as the focal point of our project, thus the word "Inspire" above.  A couple of weeks ago I went to IKEA and found these black 5" x 7" frames for $1.29 each.  Thought I could use them for something!

I've been wanting to have more customized artwork in my craft room, so here is one of my fist pieces.  I used our Sarita paper pack as well as coordinating cardstock colors.  I used our Geometric Backgrounds stamp set to randomly stamp on the letters to give them a little more dimension.  I stamped them with the same color ink - tone on tone stamping.

The letters were cut at 1" and 2" using our Artbooking Cricut cartridge.  I used the Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut the side strip.  It's on page 71 ,E1, Shift, Accent 4, < ILoveYou > cut at 5 1/2".  I cut the Lagoon piece of cardstock at 1" x 6" and then used our Scallop Border Punch.
