Today I come to you from Card-a-Day blog where our theme this week is ... Halloween! Without further ado, my cards:
Can you believe tomorrow is already October 1st? What ?!?!? What happened to September? Or for that matter, what happened to the summer??
Halloween is one month away my fellow crafters and I have so many crafty ideas in my head I'm not sure if I will be able to get them all made in time! For this A2 size card, I used a retired paper from Close to My Heart called Spellbound which, by the way, is actually in the "While Supplies Last" section of my website for, get this, ONLY $2.20 a package! What? This is the "treat" part of "trick or treat" from me today. For only $2.20 (plus tax and s/h), you will get 12 pieces of cardstock - that's right 12 pieces of cardstock (Black, Slate, Sunset, and White) as well as 6 pieces of coordinating patterned paper. Remember, though, the paper is only available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!
I used a pattern from our Make It From Your Heart - Volume 2 publication found on page 44 - it's pattern 24. The pumpkin circle and the "Happy Halloween" sentiment came from our Perfect Fit - Halloween stamp set. The bats came from the Creepy Creatures stamp set and the "who's afraid" sentiment came from the Moonlight Workshopon the Go stamp set. I used Sunset and Black ink along with a sponge dauber to edge the White pieces of cardstock.
