Hello Crafters!

Yup -- today I'm presenting to you the first of my Valentine's Day projects.  Now, I know that Valentine's Day isn't until 2/14 BUT that's only 27 days away!  You know how fast time goes right?

Sooooo, at Card-a-Day blog, we are "celebrating" Valentine's Day early to help inspire and motivate you to get your creations finished early :)

I wanted to make a card that was fairly simple and wasn't too "girlie" or "frilly", you know?

This is a 5" x 5" card made using Black cardstock.  The card shape was cut using our Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge which has 100 different card shapes!  This one can be found on page 26, A6, Shift, Card, < Heart1 >.  The heart in the middle of the card can be found on page 26 as well.  (A6, Shift, < Heart1 >, 2").  I used Ruby cardstock for it.

I then used our Artbooking Cricut cartridge to cut out the "xoxo" at 1" with Ruby cardstock.  It can be found on page 48, Title, < q >.

All cuts were made with the Real Dial Size key on.

I cut a piece of White Daisy cardstock at 4 3/4" x 4 3/4" for the inside of the card and edged it with Ruby ink.
