Good Morning Crafters!

This morning I come to you from Pause Dream!  This week our challenge was to use lace in our projects.  I decided to make a mini book:

This was so fun and SO easy to make.  My friend, Darla (a fellow CTMH consultant from Canada) of Die Cut Darla, showed me this mini book that she made AND even gave me the link to the YouTube video tutorial.  I just had to make my own!

First let me give you the link to the video from CeeCee's Creations called "How to Make a One Sheet Mini Pocket Book" - just click here to watch.

To make my Mini Pocket Book, I used a new paper pack from Close to My Heart called "Lollydoodle".  I just LOVE these colors!.  To make the tags, I used our exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  You can find the tags on page 60, D10, < Tag4 > cut at 2 1/4" x 3 3/4" cut using the Fit to Length key.  I cut them using coordinating cardstock colors:  Cotton Candy, Juniper, Slate, Whisper, Sorbet, and Pear.

For the front of my mini book, I used our Frame Flair stamp set which also coordinates with the Art Philosophy cartridge. The image can be found on page 63, E3, < Square5 > cut at 2".  For the binding of my book, I used a piece of Cotton Candy cardstock and stamped it with Cotton Candy ink using the Swirls Around stamp set.

For the "lace" part of my project, I used our Lagoon Zipper Lace on the front of the mini book.

I'm not quite sure yet what I'm going to be putting in this book -- I think maybe quotes.  I have a ton of them that I love to read and this may be the place to collect them.
