Create a Friend

Good Morning Crafters!

This morning I wanted to share with you a cute card I made for a friend using the Cricut cartridge - Create-a-Friend.  LOVE this cartridge - it is just too stinkin' cute!

Here's the card I made for a friend whose son loved baseball:

I used Indian Corn Blue cardstock for the background - cut it at 4" x 5 1/4" and then ran it through my Sizzix Texture Boutique using an embossing folder that (to me) looked like rainbows.

I cut him at 3".  I used Outdoor Denim cardstock for his hat and uniform  I used Black cardstock for the tip of his hat and his shoes.  I used White Daisy cardstock for his tshirt and home plate.

I used Slate and Whisper cardstock for the rest of home plate as well as the shadow for the boy's figure.

I love the way this turned out.  Stay tuned for a couple of additional cards made using the Create-a-Friend Cricut cartridge over the next week.

Here's a list of supplies I used to make this card:

Indian Corn Blue Cardstock
Outdoor Denim Cardstock
